36 The Mall boasts traditional B&B accommodation is a beautiful Georgian town house situated at the North End of Montrose.

No 36 is a perfect location for shopping, sport centre, beach, golf courses and the town centre with a variety of eating places a mere 5 – 10 minutes walk away.

Montrose is a busy seaside town situated between Dundee (38 Miles South) and Aberdeen (40 Miles South) and the North and South Esk Rivers.  The towns natural harbour functions as a busy commercial port for the thriving oil and gas industry and the town is a centre for international trade.  The town overlooks a two square mile tidal lagoon, Montrose Basin, which boasts an international recognised nature reserve.

Montrose has 2 Golf Courses (one of which is the 5th oldest in the world) and a beautiful blue flag sandy beach.  The town has an array of restaurants and eateries  and a wealth of local music and artistic talent with events and exhibitions on throughout the year.

Since 2008 Montrose has hosted the Montrose Music Festival or MoFest, which takes please at the end of May each year and has grown to Scotland’s biggest free live music festival with notable headline acts such as Deacon Blue, Ocean Colour Scene, The Proclaimers, Toploader and most recently Status Quo.
